The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX), on October 29, 2026, has notified members regarding a mock trading session scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026, to test trading systems and related infrastructure.
The mock trading session will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, preceded by a special session from 1:55 PM to 1:59 PM. The Exchange may disconnect trading from the primary site between 3:55 PM and 4:00 PM, with member login access disabled until migration to the Disaster Recovery (DR) site. Trading will resume on the DR site from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Members using CTCL facilities are requested to participate using the MCX Enhanced Trading Interface (ETI) API version 1.4.2 and test their applications from the DR site.
Participation is available through existing leased-line connectivity or existing SSL VPN IDs via https://trade.mcxindia.com. Members must ensure that their trading systems are restored to production status after the mock session. Trades executed during the mock session will not create any pay-in or pay-out obligations.
