The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) on October 28, 2026, issued an advisory regarding Scheduled Maintenance of e-Invoice Services.
The following has been stated: -
•The GST e-Invoice portal issued an advisory dated October 28, 2026, announcing scheduled maintenance due to an infrastructure upgrade from October 31, 2026, at 9:00 AM IST to November 01, 2026, at 1:00 PM IST.
•During this period, e-Invoice data retrieval and processing from Invoice Registration Portals (IRPs), auto-population of e-Invoice data in GSTR-1, and e-Invoice JSON downloads through the portal and APIs will be temporarily unavailable.
•Taxpayers and other stakeholders are advised to plan their compliance activities accordingly. The affected services are expected to resume after the maintenance is completed.
