class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on October 27, 2026, notified the Extension of the New Amnesty Scheme, 2025.
It has extended the New Amnesty Scheme, 2025 for a further period of three months, from October 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, on the existing terms and conditions. The Scheme provides for withdrawal of criminal cases against Insured Persons (IPs) and employers, as well as settlement of cases instituted by employers under Sections 75 and 82 of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948. ESIC has directed its field and administrative offices to publicise the extension widely and inform Regional Boards, Local Committees, workers’ unions and employers’ associations to encourage eligible stakeholders to avail themselves of the Scheme during the extended period.
