The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on October 30, 2026, has notified trading members regarding a mock trading session for the Equity Derivatives segment scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026. Members using third-party trading platforms or in-house developed systems through ETI APIs may utilise the session to test various functionalities, including risk-reduction mode and trading halt. No new BOLT TWS release will be provided.
The mock trading session will commence with member login from 1:15 PM to 2:05 PM, followed by the pre-open session from 2:05 PM to 2:20 PM and continuous trading from 2:20 PM to 3:40 PM. The future contract price bands will be updated for alignment with the CAS in the Equity segment between 3:15 PM and 3:20 PM. Trade modification will be available until 4:15 PM, while trade annulment requests may be submitted until 4:20 PM.
The Exchange has clarified that the mock trading session is intended solely for testing and familiarisation. Trades executed during the session will not attract any margin, pay-in or pay-out obligations and will not create any rights or liabilities. Members are requested to actively participate and submit their feedback to the Exchange by 4:00 PM.
