The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on October 29, 2026, issued a notification regarding the date of establishment and the date until which the standard without the amendment shall remain in force such as Single Phase a.c. Induction Motors for General Purpose.

•IS 16333 (Part 1) : 2015 Mobile Phone Handsets Part 1 Safety Requirements
•IS 17515 (Part 2) : 2021 ISO 25745-2 : 2015 Energy Performance of Lifts, Escalators and Moving Walks Part 2 Energy Calculation and Classification for Lifts (Elevators)
The date of establishment is October 26, 2026, and the date until which the standard without the amendment shall remain in force is April 25, 2027.
