Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, on October 27, 2026, has amended Notification No. S.O. 1056(E) dated 6 March 2023, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 5 of the Seeds Act, 1966, after consultation with the Committee.

The amendment substitutes the existing entry against Serial No. 88, Column (5) of the table with “Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu”, thereby revising the states specified against the said serial number.
