The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on October 27, 2026, exercising powers under Section 5 of the Seeds Act, 1966, has amended the notification dated October 8, 2024, relating to the specification of seed varieties. Accordingly, the names of the seed varieties mentioned against Serial Nos. 133, 226 and 227 in the existing notification have been revised as follows:
- Serial No. 133: Konkan Satwik (DPLV-1) (LMV 548).
- Serial No. 226: IKSHU-16 (CoLK 16202).
- Serial No. 227: IKSHU-17 (CoLk-16470).
The amendment updates the specified seed variety names in the original notification.
