The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) on October 28, 2026, Digital Monitoring System on the ONDLS portal for monitoring the supply chain of high-risk solvents.
CDSCO has directed manufacturers and vendors/suppliers of pharmaceutical-grade high-risk solvents and excipients, including propylene glycol, glycerine and sorbitol, to mandatorily register on the Online National Drug Licensing System (ONDLS) portal and upload batch-wise details through its Digital Monitoring System (DMS). The required information includes quantities manufactured and supplied, Certificates of Analysis (CoA), vendor credentials, and complete onward distribution records. No batch of these solvents shall be distributed without uploading the prescribed details on the DMS and obtaining a system-generated No Objection Certificate (NOC). State authorities have been requested to ensure implementation and strict compliance by all manufacturing and supply units within their respective jurisdictions, with technical assistance available through the designated CDSCO helpdesk.
