The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) on October 01, 2026, issued a notification seeking Public Comments on the draft List of Relevant Standards.
The following has been stated: -
•The Central Electricity Authority (CEA), under Regulation 137 of the Central Electricity Authority (Measures Relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Amendment Regulations, 2026, has prepared a draft list of Relevant Standards applicable to the 2023 Regulations and their amendments.
•Stakeholders and the public are invited to submit their comments on the draft list to the Chief Engineer (CEI), CEA, through post or email.
•The comments must be submitted on or before November 15, 2026.
•The Authority will issue the final list of applicable standards through a separate order within three months from the commencement of the Amendment Regulations.
