EHS ComplianceThe Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) notified the Invocation of Stage-II (Very Poor Air Quality) Measures under GRAP in Delhi-NCR on November 02, 2026.

The following has been stated:

• It has invoked all actions under Stage-II (Very Poor Air Quality – AQI 301–400) of the extant Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) across the entire Delhi-NCR region with immediate effect, vide its order dated November 2, 2026. The decision followed a review of deteriorating air quality, with Delhi’s AQI rising from 117 (Moderate) on October 31, 2026, to 261 (Poor) on November 1, 2026, and 324 (Very Poor) on November 2, 2026, due to unfavourable meteorological conditions.

• As per IMD/IITM forecasts, air quality is expected to remain in the Very Poor category in the coming days. All concerned agencies have been directed to implement and strictly monitor Stage-I and Stage-II measures, intensify pollution-control actions, and ensure compliance with the GRAP citizen charter. The Sub-Committee will continue to monitor air quality and review the situation for further action.
