Labour Compliance The Government of Bihar on October 30, 2026, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 26(2) of the Code on Wages, 2019, has notified that the bonus payable to eligible employees under Sections 26(1) and 26(3) of the Code shall be calculated based on the monthly rates of minimum wages notified by the State Government from time to time.

The notification shall be deemed to have come into force retrospectively from November 21, 2025.
