The Government of Keralam on October 31, 2026, amended an older Notification No. G.O.(P) No.142/2025/TD dated September 17, 2025, related to GST exemption regarding Psyllium Seeds (Isabgol).
The following has been stated: -
•The Government of Keralam has amended Notification No. G.O.(P) No.142/2025/TD dated September 17, 2025, under Section 11(1) of the Keralam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
•The amendment inserts a new Serial No. 87A under the Schedule, covering Psyllium seeds (Isabgol/Isobgol) classified under HSN Code 1211 90 13, thereby extending the applicable GST exemption to such goods.
•The amendment shall come into force with effect from November 01, 2026.
