The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) on November 02, 2026, has fixed the retail price of Cholecalciferol Tablets (7000 IU), containing Cholecalciferol IP, at Rs. 8.93 per tablet, exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST), for M/s Windlas Biotech Limited and M/s Eris Lifesciences Limited, under the provisions of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013 (DPCO).
The manufacturers/marketing companies are required to ensure that the retail price does not exceed the notified price and issue the price list in Form V through the Integrated Pharmaceutical Database Management System (IPDMS), with copies to the State Drug Controller and dealers. Retailers and dealers must prominently display the applicable price list at their business premises. GST may be charged only where actually payable to the Government. Any overcharging in violation of the notified price will attract recovery of the excess amount along with applicable interest under the DPCO, 2013, read with the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
