The Ministry of Communications (MoC) on November 04, 2026, notified the launch of the Network Anubhav Platform for Geospatial Analysis of Telecom Network Performance and DND Services.
The following has been stated:
• The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has launched the Network Anubhav Platform, a geospatial and analytical dashboard integrating consumer-generated test data from its MySpeed and MyCall applications with TRAI’s Independent Drive Test data. The platform enables consumers to view location-specific cellular and fixed broadband performance, including download and upload speeds, service-provider-wise and technology-wise results, supported by maps, filters, tables and downloadable reports. It displays percentile-based speed indicators, including P50 (median), P80 for mobile broadband and P90 for fixed broadband, while clarifying that user-generated results do not constitute a comprehensive assessment of network quality under standard testing methodology.
• Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) can access consumer test data through a secure interface to identify network coverage, call quality, and performance issues for network optimisation, while TRAI can use aggregated insights for evidence-based monitoring. The platform also supports wider integration of connectivity testing through the MySpeed SDK for eligible third-party applications.
• Further, consumers can access Do Not Disturb (DND) services through the web interface to register commercial communication preferences, lodge complaints regarding unsolicited commercial communications, track complaint status, and view consolidated and service-provider-wise complaint information.
